About Darby

Real estate feels like home to me. I’m a third-generation real estate professional, following in my grandfather’s and mother’s footsteps, and I’ve spent the last five years working with the team at #1 Properties. I was born in Laramie and raised in Cheyenne, graduated from Cheyenne Central High School and Laramie County Community College, and Wyoming has always been my home. Before real estate, I spent more than a decade as a professional equestrian and coach, focusing on eventing and show jumping with Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods. I run DTM Equestrian, LLC, where I balance training, instruction, and business management. My husband, Jace Beard, and I raise cattle and train Quarter Horses and Paints, which gives me a hands-on understanding of land, responsibility, and long-term investment. I’m also involved in leadership roles with nonprofits like the United States Pony Clubs and The Event at Archer. All of these experiences shape how I approach real estate, with preparation, commitment, and a deep love for the place I call home!
