Terra and Jim Beaver are the husband-and-wife team behind the Lakes Region Team at Weichert, Realtors® – Great Day Group, serving buyers and sellers throughout Central Wisconsin. Jim has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2013 and brings a patient, down-to-earth approach to working with buyers. After nearly 30 years as an elementary school teacher, explaining complicated things in a way that makes sense comes pretty naturally! Jim works closely with buyers through the home search, showings, inspections and the many decisions that come with purchasing a home. Terra is a REALTOR® and Broker Associate with a degree in Human Services and Counseling. Her background in working with people, problem-solving and navigating difficult situations carries naturally into real estate. She focuses heavily on listings, contracts, negotiations and keeping transactions moving from beginning to closing. Together, Terra and Jim combine different strengths while working as one team for their clients. First-time home buyers are especially welcome. There are no silly questions when you're buying your first home, and Terra and Jim take the time to explain the process so buyers understand what is happening and why. The Lakes Region Team also has experience helping veterans and military buyers, including those using VA financing. Terra holds the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification. Terra and Jim specialize in lake homes, waterfront and recreational properties throughout Central Wisconsin, including Castle Rock Lake, Lake Petenwell, the Wisconsin River and smaller area lakes. Their experience also includes residential homes, rural and acreage properties, vacation and second homes, land and new construction. Areas served include Mauston, New Lisbon, Necedah, Friendship, Adams, Wisconsin Dells, Tomah and surrounding communities. Terra's designations and certifications include RSPS, MRP, PSA, ABR® and C2EX. Above all, relationships come before transactions.
