I spent over 2 years in Nome, later moving to Dillingham, Alaska for a year. I had had my fill of remote Alaska living and moved outside of Anchorage for 2 years where my only daughter was born. After our Alaska adventure, we purchased a business in Eastern Oregon in a town we had spent 2 weeks in where we lived for 5 years before returning home to Kitsap.
