Susan serves on the Top Producer Management Team of The Steele Group and has received the Distinguished Achiever Award from the Richmond Association of Realtors every year since 2001. In 2021,she was honored as the number 3 salesperson in her firm, and in 2022, she rose to number 1! As a native of Richmond, Susan is a champion of this wonderful city and its nearby counties. She is a graduate of St. Catherine's School, attended Vanderbilt University and received a BA with Distinction from the University of Virginia. After college, she worked in banking and marketing before landing upon the career that best complements her outgoing personality. She has been married for 37 years to Basil, also a UVA graduate, who is with US Trust. They have a son, Basil III, who graduated from UVA and a daughter, Carrington, who graduated with a master's degree from James Madison University. She has 2 granddaughters and a grandson on the way. Susan is an avid gardener and enjoys sports of all kinds, especially fitness training, swimming and cycling. She and her family love spending summer vacation in Maine each year. A lifelong member of St. Stephen's Church, she is also a member of the Tuckahoe Garden Club and the Garden Club of America.
