About Sonja

Sonja began her Real Estate adventure back in 2008 managing apartments and received her Real Estate license in April 2010 and became an expert in property management for most of her career. She sucessfully created and operated a property management company which helped her develop skills that are like no other agent in the Hampton Roads area. The more the client knows about what to expect the smoother the transaction will be. Sonja is a people person and strives to give her best to each and every client day in and day out, 24/7. This story perfectly sums up the kind of professional agent Sonja is, and the type of agent she continuously strives to be for all of her clients. Sonja was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work hard for it. So that’s what she did. Sonja was born in Columbus, Ohio and was raised in the Hampton Roads area growing up in Va Beach and graduated from First Colonial High School. Sonja's 2 children went to OSU and have went on to work in their own career paths doing quite well. As the years went by, Sonja worked her way from apartment property manager to Director of Property Management while creating a PM company, never wavering in her resolve to become the best version of herself with each career move. She switched over to sales in mid 2024 and has enjoyed the move ever since. Sonja got into the real estate industry 17 years ago when other agents kept telling her that with her personality and goal driven attitude, she would be one of the best in the industry. She set out to do just that. As her career advanced, Sonja found her stride working with the best in the real estate industry. She is an expert in understanding what your needs are. She realizes that one size does not fit all. Every client is different and deserves an agent that can adjust their thinking to their needs. Throughout her career, Sonja has earned numerous accolades, including: Top Property Manager (4 years) Sold a Historic property that was featured in County Living Magazine HRRA awards and many more Sonja lives in the Redmill area of Va Beach with her soulmate Sean and their dog Barley BooBoo. In her free time, she enjoys riding bikes at the oceanfront and what god has given her, which is family, friends and the means to make things happen for all of her wonderful clients. Sonja aims to provide the highest level of service to her clients and takes deep pride in helping them achieve their real estate goals. No matter what the situation is, she will always find the solution that puts a smile on your face and to make lifelong friends with all of her clients.
