Hi, I'm Verjuana Rhoshea — a Realtor® serving first-time home buyers and military families across the Killeen–Fort Hood area. My military clients call me The PCS Lifesaver, and that name isn't a slogan. It's a promise backed by lived experience. My path into real estate started in 2000 when my husband and I walked into a real estate office looking for the rental list. The agent on duty asked us a question that changed the trajectory of my life: "Have you ever thought about buying?" We figured she was a crazy person because we were both active duty in the U.S. Army and absolutely convinced that buying a home was something other people did. People with money. People who weren't going to PCS in two years. People who weren't us. She sat us down, educated us, answered every question, and sold us our first home. Throughout the whole experience, she kept telling me, "You should become an agent. You'd be great at this." The seed was planted. I served 3 more years, ETSed from the Army, got my license — and have loved every minute of the past 9 years in this business. I'm a Texas native serving a military community that I understand. As a U.S. Army veteran, military spouse, proud mother of an Airman and a Sailor, and a sister and aunt to Marines, I have lived every version of this life. That matters when you're choosing an agent.
