About Todd P

Born and raised in the Washington DC area, Todd P Smith graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Accounting, Finance and Real Estate. From his early days as the son of an Air Force officer and real estate Broker, Todd's career spans the financial services and entertainment industries, all the while percolating his passion for real estate and helping others achieve the American Dream of home ownership. Along the way he has received numerous awards for customer service, and believes strongly in his commitment to God, family, and to giving back to his community. Todd's embarked on his multi-faceted career with the motion picture industry in Los Angeles, where he served in a variety of roles on forty-two motion pictures, ranging from "Wall Street," "Big," "Die Hard," "Home Alone," "Ace Ventura I & II" and "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" among many others, Todd still enjoys producing short films and videos and does so in his spare time. As the former Managing Partner of the West Austin office of Capital City Sotheby’s Int’l Realty and later as the Broker/Owner of Fine Austin Living, REALTORS, Todd’s experience growing and managing a team proved invaluable to his credentials as a skilled manager. Todd is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council and the Austin Board of Realtors (ABOR) as well as a Graduate of the Realtor Institute. He is a member of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, and the Residential Real Estate Council (CRS). Todd has served his community as an active Rotarian since 2007 including his service as President of two different Rotary Clubs. Todd has also served on the Business Advisory Committee for the Westbank Library (Laura Bush Library) Fundraising Committee, and as a Trustee for the Eanes Educational Foundation. In addition to running a small-business networking group and hosting the weekly podcast “Let’s Talk About Austin”, Todd’s hobbies include skiing, cycling, adventure travel, and camping.
