As a highly accomplished leader and transformative change agent, I can offer 25+ years of collective experience in real estate sales, marketing, portfolio management, and project management with a professional interest in driving excellence in real estate, property management, and historical preservation. I have excelled in executive, management, and real estate sales roles with such high-profile employers as Revilo Real Estate, Keller William Realty, Hefty Properties and Karpas Properties, to name a few. My skill set includes talent with multidisciplinary team leadership, real estate development, practice, regulations, and documentation, leads development, networking, acquisitions, financing, and complex contract negotiations. I am adept at delivering stellar performance-enhancing decision-making while working with peers, teams, and stakeholders to champion an organization’s mission, vision, and values. I am also well-versed in high-value budget development/control, diverse design/construction methods, and tenant/vendor relations to consistently promote impactful operational results. A sample of my experience includes serving as the Vice President of Hefty Properties where I lead all facets of this growth-oriented business while preparing and managing all operating budgets, managing property insurance policies and real estate taxes, and coordinating and managing the profit-boosting rehabilitation/new construction of single-family homes in and/or around the Houston area. Within this role, I also proactively develop alliances among contractors, architects, preservation consultants, and others in the industry while purchasing homes and land in Houston and/or the surrounding areas. A few of my recent accomplishments include: - Negotiating key contracts with project-specific team members, consultants, and vendors. - Demonstrating a passion for design and construction methods to preserve a home’s integrity. - Continually developing mutually beneficial relationships among city and other public agencies for zoning, permitting, financing, and additional development needs. To complement my background, please note that I attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Texas Tech University and completed Multimedia Studies at The Art Institute of Houston. I also hold a current Real Estate License in the State of Texas. As a native Houstonian, I have spent much time exploring and learning about Galveston as a vacationer/tourist. However, I made Galveston my permanent home three years ago. My fiancée and I are in the process of purchasing a 1901 home adjacent to The Silk Stocking District. We look forward to maintaining this home and preserving it for future generations.
