About Dane

Dane Carter has lived in Austin for over twenty years, arriving here in 1996 just as Leslie Cochran rode his tricycle into town wearing those famous high heels. Having resided across the city from its bustling urban center to some of its most vibrant neighborhoods, Dane knows Austin inside and out. These days, he is proud to call downtown Austin home and its 1.5 million bats as his neighbors (although he won’t be asking them to borrow sugar anytime soon). Dane has more than 15 years of sales experience. He is an accomplished negotiator, lauded for his outstanding communication skills and determination in achieving the best possible outcome for his clients. Dane is disciplined and known for his strong work ethic, but don’t let his dedication fool you — Dane is just as easygoing and fun to be around as he is serious about his job. When he's not working, Dane enjoys spending time with his beautiful daughter (in other words trying to keep up with her and hoping she never figures out she’s faster than him). He is a fan of staying fit and healthy, and he avoids spray tans by getting outdoors and running as much as he can. Whenever possible, you will find Dane enjoying the “keep it weird” culture by partaking in the belly-busting BBQ, world-famous live music, and limitless recreational activities Austin has to offer.
