About Steve

I was born in West Virginia but raised in southern Maryland. I grew up surrounded by farms and doing many farm chores for pocket money. I loved the Crossville area so much I moved here from North Carolina. I’ve also lived in Virginia where I “flipped” several homes, and I was a real estate agent in Florida before moving to North Carolina. Several members of my family have been involved in real estate for years in some way, my mother worked for Freddie Mac and my brother is a title abstractor. Most of my career has been in the Information Technology side of the house, having worked as a contractor for the General Services Administration and for the United Space Alliance at the Kennedy Space Center. Having been a single parent raising my son was challenging between working full time and all the extracurricular activities. After serving in the Marines, he now has a family of his own and I have been blessed with three grandchildren. My love of Cumberland County and of the Crossville area is what helped me decide to return to real estate. It reminds me of the area I grew up in, people smile, wave, say hello regardless of whether they know you or not.
