Lisha Collingwood | East Tennessee REALTOR® For me, real estate has never been simply about selling houses. It has always been about land, people, and the place I call home—East Tennessee. I began my real estate career in 2002, and over the years my work has taken me into nearly every corner of the industry. I specialized in TVA dock rights and shoreline exchange programs, sourced land for developers, assisted investors with apartment development, helped first-time buyers build their family dream homes, and guided families relocating both to and from East Tennessee. That experience taught me something important: no two properties—and no two clients—are ever quite the same. My particular love has always been land. I understand that acreage is more than a number on a listing. Topography, water, access, usability, development potential, shoreline considerations, barns, fencing and location can dramatically change what a property is—and what it can become. That knowledge isn't just professional. I live it. East Tennessee's mountains, lakes and countryside have been the backdrop to my life. When I'm not working with clients, you'll likely find me hiking, fishing, working around our farm or on the back of a horse. I've spent a lifetime with horses, competing in hunters, western disciplines and dressage, where I earned my USDF Silver Medal aboard my homebred stallion, Gotham. Today, my family and I own Broad Hill Run Farm, where we breed and develop sport horses and raise cattle. That background gives me an unusual perspective when representing farms, equestrian properties, acreage and rural estates. I don't just see a pretty barn and green pasture—I understand how the property actually needs to function. At the same time, some of the most rewarding moments of my career have been handing a first-time buyer the keys to a new home, helping a family make a difficult move easier, finding an investor the right opportunity, or helping someone discover that special corner of East Tennessee that simply feels like home.
