About Tara

Tara’s 20 year real estate career has been greatly influenced by her family. As a child she was inspired by her mother’s real estate company and her father’s talent as a residential builder. These experiences have afforded her an in depth understanding of the industry and led to her recognition as Rookie of the year her first year in business and have led to a successful sales career since. Throughout her career she has had the unique opportunity to work with developers, builders, architects, and designers throughout the tri-county area. These experiences helped her win recognition in 2006 as selling several of the top ten most expensive homes in Mount Pleasant. Tara also sold the highly publicized 2009 Coastal Living Idea Cottage in I’On. Tara believes in education and has received certifications as a Real Estate Divorce Specialist, Negotiation Expert and Distressed Property Expert. She also has specialized training in Mediation, Living Space Psychology, Home Staging, Life Coaching, New Home Construction and Renovation Management. Tara also believes in giving back. A portion of her commission is given from each closing to support Thrive SC, a not for profit providing transitional housing, holistic services, and cutting edge resources for ALL income levels and focuses not only on the immediate needs of safety, but also on the longer-term tools needed for a life of independence and empowerment.
