Originally from Akron, Ohio, Premier Sotheby’s International Realty broker associate Sue Fessler began her real estate career in Chattanooga, Tennessee, over 20 years ago with a drive for understanding corporate relocation. While helping many families with this major life transition, she established her real estate career as a successful multimillion-dollar producer who offered a plethora of services. Sue’s experiences broadened into new construction opportunities in Chattanooga while creating development opportunities with local builders and national investors. A 10-year career in Chattanooga led Sue to new opportunities in Atlanta, Georgia, where she purchased a mainstay real estate firm, established in 1978. Focusing on new condo sales, new home communities, buyer and seller relationships, investor relations and acquisitions/dispositions, the business model drew the attention of franchise firms. When presented with an acquisition offer in 2013, Sue transitioned her well-established company from an independent brokerage to a nationally-known franchise, enhancing market share opportunities for her associates. Following that change, Sue had the vision to establish a new boutique firm in Atlanta managing FDIC opportunities in a down market, thriving while the real estate industry took time to reset. Handling assets for disposition, Sue’s success story continued as she aligned relationships that would bring millions of dollars back into the Atlanta real estate market. As her real estate business continued to grow, Sue had the opportunity to move back to Charlotte, having being gone since 1997. A previous resident of the Lake Norman area, she has well-established relationships with customers who continue to rely on her for real estate advice today. In 2016, Sue joined one of the world’s leading brokerages as vice president, working through strategic business models to bring the luxury international brand to the Charlotte area. Sue’s passion of working with developers, investors, hedge funds and private equity firms contribute to her successful expertise in the real estate industry. Sue has two grown, successful children who inherited her passion and zest for real estate. When not engaging in a real estate transaction, Sue loves to play golf, work out and spend time with her friends and family. Also extremely passionate about animals, she previously served as executive director for Angels Among Us Pet Rescue. Sue’s amazing 17-year-old Yorkie, Bentley, is living the dream!
