About Kyle

Kyle Irizarry was born in upstate New Jersey on a 400-acre farm and grew up visiting his family’s property on Isle of Palms before finally moving to Johns Island when he was 13. His rural upbringing combined with his new water-focused home front gave him great appreciation for Charleston and the surrounding areas. Over the past twenty years, Kyle’s love for the unique characteristics of each island in the low country has been fine-tuned. Kyle has 16 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry and most recently left his Chef position at a local catering company to pursue his new career with CREG. He got his first taste of the real estate world when he was on the hunt for his first house. It was a trying experience, to say the least, but it gave him a new perspective on the Charleston home buying process and helped spark interest in a new industry. Shortly after moving into his first home and doing much of the renovations himself, he partnered up with an interior designer and contractor to start a remodeling company called Polished Renovations & Design. His combined experiences have helped Kyle become an expert in discovering hidden value in properties, navigating obstacles in the buying/remodeling/selling processes and advocating for clients to negotiate the best deal. The Charleston housing market is a grueling one these days; but the buying and selling process doesn’t have to be a challenging one. This is where Kyle’s passion for real estate and easy-going “low country” demeanor come in. He loves to share his experience in both real estate and remodeling with Charleston homeowners, and hopes that his unique perspective will be an asset to first time homebuyers as well.
