I am Irina Bordyn, REALTOR® with AgentOwned Realty Charleston Group, serving buyers and sellers across Charleston, Summerville, Mount Pleasant and the surrounding Lowcountry. I specialize in new construction, and my second niche is helping out-of-state buyers relocate to South Carolina. I have called Charleston home since 2014, and that sense of home is really what my business is built on. As a full-time REALTOR® with AgentOwned Realty, I believe real estate is about people first, properties second – every client, every conversation, every decision. My background spans both new construction and Charleston's historic homes, so whether you are drawn to a fresh build or falling for a house with a little history, I bring a thoughtful, balanced perspective to help you see it clearly. I believe in honest, straightforward guidance – I would rather give you the full picture than a rosy one, so you can move forward with real confidence. From your very first conversation through closing day, I stay close to every detail, so nothing falls through the cracks. My goal is simple: to help you find the right home, or the right buyer, and make the journey feel as easy as it should be. Before Real Estate: Restaurants, Germany and a Greek Family I grew up in the restaurant business in Germany – Greek father, German mother (think My Big Fat Greek Wedding). That upbringing taught me hospitality, hard work, and how to make people feel at home – which is exactly what I do for my clients today. I speak fluent English and German. I moved to the United States in 2001, first settling in Michigan. From there, life took me to San Antonio, Texas, and then back to Michigan before I relocated to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, in February 2014. I was drawn to the Lowcountry by its warm weather, beautiful beaches, and Charleston's rich history. Having moved so many times myself, I understand firsthand what it takes to start over somewhere new. I bring that experience, empathy, and practical understanding to every client relocating to the Charleston area.
