About Bethany

Originally from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, Bethany White graduated from Bridgewater College with a Business Administration and Marketing degree and James Madison University with a Sports and Recreation Leadership degree. After moving to Charleston to soak up the sun and good weather, she got a job with the City of Charleston as the Marketing and Special Events Coordinator for the Recreation Department. Bethany met her husband playing volleyball, and they were married in 2022. She loves playing and coaching volleyball (currently at Porter-Gaud) and exploring the Park Circle area where she lives with her husband and labradoodle named Willow. When not coaching or playing volleyball, she loves being at the beach and in the sunshine, visiting local parks, and trying all the amazing food (and coffee!) Charleston has to offer.
