Originally from Hopewell Township in Beaver County, where she was raised in a rural farm-like setting with an appreciation for nature’s bounty, after high school Rachel moved to condominium living in downtown Pittsburgh while she worked towards earning an Associate in Specialized Technology degree majoring in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Later she attended Bellevue University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Legal Studies. Most recently in 2014, Rachel attended the American School of Real Estate where she completed studies to qualify her to sit for the Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson exam. Rachel’s unique background merging the creative “form” – her keen eye for design, but also her healthy understanding of contractual language or “function” of real estate forms and disclosures, positions her as a stellar asset and certainly an agent you would want on your team. Today, in addition to her real estate consulting, Rachel is passionate about promoting safety and permanency for children who are dependent on Allegheny County’s Children’s Court. She has volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate since 2010. Rachel resides in a split level Cape Cod style home, situated adjacent to Pine Creek, where she enjoys the sounds of the tranquil waters and sightings of the occasional Great Blue Heron and Kingfisher birds who enjoy the aquatics too. Since 2009, she has resided happily creek-side in Hampton Township with her husband of nine years and their ever watchful and eminently lovable Shih Tzu, Amarise.
