Most people get into real estate and then try to learn property. I did it the other way around. I started in 1998 working for a land surveyor—walking properties, setting pins, researching deeds, and learning how land is actually divided, used, and valued. By 2001, I moved into construction and site development, where I’ve spent the last two decades estimating, planning, and building projects across South-Central Pennsylvania and Western Maryland. That experience matters. Because real estate isn’t just about buying and selling—it’s about understanding what a property is, what it can be, and what it should be worth. Today, I bring that background into real estate with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, helping clients navigate everything from residential homes to land, recreational properties, and development opportunities.
