About Richard
Hi, I'm Rick Ryan, a Realtor licensed in the State of Ohio with Comey & Shepherd Realtors. As a native Cincinnatian and a lifelong city resident I am extremely knowledgeable of the greater Cincinnati real estate market. In my first full year as a Realtor I earned the distinction of membership in the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors Circle of Excellence, the Ohio Board of Realtors President's Club, as well as the Comey & Shepherd President's Club. Before joining Comey I had a 30 year career with the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County where I served as the Library Services Manager - East Region and oversaw the operations of 17 branch libraries throughout eastern Hamilton County. Pervious assignments had me working in every neighborhood in the county with a branch library, so I possess a unique familiarity with both sides of Cincinnati's Sauerkraut Curtain. My lifelong interest in local history makes me passionate about Cincinnati's many vibrant neighborhoods and I am delighted to see the renaissance that many areas are experiencing. My passion for real estate began when I bought my first home in 1987. I recently purchased my fourth and FINAL home. All of these houses were in need of updating when purchased, but I saw great potential in each of them. I enjoy using my experience of how to make a house a home to assist my clients in seeing the possibilities of what they can do to maximize a house's potential to meet their needs. I currently serve as Director of Agent Development for Comey & Shepherd and coordinate the company's continuing education program for our agents. I pride myself on strong communication and responsiveness to clients needs and concerns, and I welcome the opportunity to assist you in the process of buying or selling a home.
