About Vanessa Dianne

I am a native of Pampa, Texas and a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications. In November 2005, I began my career in real estate with The Drakeford Company shortly after purchasing my first home. Previously, I worked in television production and was unaware that the purchase of my own home was preparing me for a career in real estate. Assisting homeowners with selecting finishes to customize their new home, walkthroughs, punch supervision and the post-closing warranty process has brought the home buying experience full circle for me. Becoming a full-time broker was a natural progression. I am very fond of Charlotte. In fact, I have lived here for 15 years and love what Charlotte’s urban lifestyle has become. There was a time that the Uptown area was virtually a ghost town after 5:00 pm. Now there are plenty of condominiums and single-family homes to choose from complemented by the plethora of restaurants, clubs and sports activity centers like the Time Warner Area and the Panther’s Stadium. Not to mention other burgeoning urban areas, such as Plaza Midwood, Elizabeth and NoDa’s Arts District. I look forward to sharing all that this city has to offer and my unique combination of home buying experience to make the dream of homeownership a reality.
