About Syndie

I've worked exclusively on the Crystal Coast for 38 years, and I've spent that entire career as a solo agent by choice. When you call me, you get me. Not a team member, not an assistant fielding your questions, not a rotating cast of people who don't know your file. I was Bluewater Real Estate's first employee back in 1986, and I still work every transaction myself from the first conversation through closing. My focus is second-home buyers, vacation rental owners, and investment buyers on Emerald Isle and across Bogue Banks and Carteret County. I understand how these purchases differ from a primary residence: the rental income math, the HOA and flood insurance questions, the seasonal timing, and the tax and financing pieces that trip up out-of-state buyers. A large share of my clients come from Raleigh, Charlotte, Virginia, Maryland, and Ohio, and I work with many of them from a distance long before they ever set foot on the island. I hold the ABR, CRS, SFR, RRS, and CRB designations, credentials built specifically around the kind of second-home and investment transactions I handle most. My clients tell me the biggest difference they notice is consistency. The same person who answers the phone in January is the same person negotiating their contract in July.
