Originally, he started as an investor due to his family's history of being in construction, so buying homes, renovating and ultimately selling was how he spent his first 2 years in the business. Although, he was very successful at buying and selling homes, his accountant helped him appreciate that he could realize greater profits by holding some properties as rentals. So began the quest to learn how to be an effective property manager in the South Florida market. After a while many investors noticed the success Larius was having with his rental properties so some asked if he could manage their properties for them. After spending 23 years in South Florida, Larius and his wife Maurissa, decided to move north to Charlotte, North Carolina. They found the mild seasonal weather most enjoyable and the close proximity to the mountains and beaches were simply an added bonus. However, their main reason for moving to the Carolinas is the tremendous opportunities in the fast growing Charlotte Metro area. Families are moving here from all over the country and from all over the world. Larius Woodson has stated that his goal is to show people how to not only buy property, but to truly own property! That means having property that is owned free and clear in less than 10 years using a mixture of existing cash flow and new income from tenants and other revenue sources without the headache of managing it yourself.
