About John

I am a REALTOR® and residential and commercial real estate broker with Patton Allen Real Estate, serving Asheville, Hendersonville, and communities throughout Western North Carolina. I have been a member of the Hendersonville Board of REALTORS®, North Carolina REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS® since September 2026, and I am committed to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics. I bring previous Florida real estate and REO experience together with approximately 20 years of sales leadership, negotiation, marketing and business development. My work includes residential homes, land, relocation, investment property, multifamily opportunities and commercial real estate. I am particularly interested in building long-term relationships with homeowners, absentee owners, investors and local business owners. Earlier in my career, I spent approximately four years in Florida real estate and worked in an office handling REO properties, including Fannie Mae and HomePath transactions. I later built an extensive automotive sales and management career, leading teams, hiring and training salespeople, managing internet leads and helping operations sell approximately 80–120 vehicles per month. I am also a principal buyer of select real-estate-secured mortgage notes, including first- and second-position notes. I welcome confidential conversations with note holders, private lenders and investors who may be considering selling a note.
