About Greg

Born in Concord, NC, Greg is a second generation real estate broker and general contractor. Adolescent years were spent learning custom home building from a hands-on perspective. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Asbury College and a Master’s degree from Duke University, Greg settled in Chapel Hill, NC where he spent 25 plus years in the real estate, land development and construction industry. In 2004, he purchased an old beach shack in Surf City as a weekend getaway, tore it down and rebuilt new; little did he know that he had just opened up shop on Topsail. While not a part of the original plan; salt air, ocean breezes, and blue seas soon beckoned Greg to call Topsail home. Directly or thru oversight of others, Greg has facilitated in excess of 2,000 real estate transactions ranging from working with first time home buyers to complex 1031 exchanges. His expertise has spanned both the residential and commercial markets. Join that experience with land development and construction in residential and commercial arenas and you have a well-seasoned real estate broker to assist with any of your real estate investment needs. Simply put, Greg is passionate about real estate and it shows. Greg’s real estate activities now include working closely with his wife Beverly Isenhour, a retired elementary school teacher. Together they specialize in coastal properties located in southeast North Carolina. Beverly softens Greg’s business mindedness with a personal touch which keeps the buying and selling process fresh for their clients, what they sometimes refer to as “The Bev and Greg Show”. Greg and Beverly live on Topsail Island on the waterfront in Surf City. When Greg finds spare time, he enjoys any water activities, with the favorite of just being on the boat. He is a decent guitarist and vocalist that you might find singing karaoke. Run for cover if you see him on the golf course! Who said that kids grow up? Bev and Greg’s home is a revolving door for five “adult” kids, one granddaughter and a few local strays. Enough reading and rhetoric.
