About Eric Schultz - NC and SC

When it comes to real estate, you could say I grew up in the business. My dad was a general contractor. He and my mom liked to buy houses that were in need of a little TLC. Sometimes that meant renovating a few rooms or tearing it down and starting over. Growing up, we basically lived in a flip. I was put to work at an early age and I learned a ton. I spent my Jr. High and High School summers playing baseball and building houses with my dad. In Collage, I studied product design and graduated with a degree in Industrial design. At the same time, I was signed to play minor league baseball as a pitcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. After a few years in the minors, I suffered a career-ending elbow injury that sidelined me from ever playing professional baseball again. I went to work for a product development firm as a designer/salesman. I enjoyed the sales aspect of the job and went into that full time. After a very successful 20 years in the design sales business, I was laid off due to restructuring. Leaving behind a network in Chicago, my family and I came to Charlotte to be closer to our extended family. I have always wanted to build a real estate portfolio and business and so I took the shot at doing that this year. I believe I will make a great agent because I am very relational and relentless. My previous careers have made me ready for this next step and I am excited to share my experience in real estate, negotiations, and construction with my clients. You will appreciate my follow-ups, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile for every client. What sets me apart from other agents is that I offer a pre-inspection of your home and then offer 6 hours of my time to help fix any issues that might come up on an inspection report...which saves us time in negotiations once you have an offer and keeps more money in your pocket!
