About Bill

Bill Mullen grew up in an adventurous family, moving around a bit before settling down in Chapel Hill. In addition to far-flung adventures, his family enjoyed architecture, often visiting new home construction sites together to try to determine the future use of each space. Eventually, this led Bill to a degree from SCC in Architectural Engineering, a successful landscape and construction business for 15 years, and his real estate license. Bill appreciates the chance to pair his insight into exquisite land with buyers in search of unique properties. By listening to what the buyer wants and walking the land several times, he can conceive of designs that highlight the property’s majesty. He strives to help people figure out, strategically, how to take advantage of the landscape’s natural beauty, while incorporating green construction, sustainable solutions, and renewable energy. On the flip side, Bill also loves helping landowners define their land for future use, whether for their family members, dividing the property to sell, or placing it under conservation with one of the local land trusts.
