About Amy

Growing up in Hendersonville, North Carolina gave me a deep respect for our beautiful mountains and the people who live here. My husband, who holds a General Contractors License and is an expert in building and remodeling homes throughout this area, has helped us make our home in Swannanoa with our two beautiful children. After graduating from West Henderson High School, I attended UNC-Asheville. I studied Environmental Science and earned a B.S. in the field of Ecology & Environmental Biology. While studying at school and over the years after school, I applied my education working with my father as an Associate Consulting Arborist at various communities and golf courses in the southeast, such as Augusta National and Pinehurst. After graduation from UNC-Asheville, I also worked full-time with a local Real Estate Law Firm as a Closing Coordinator. It was here that I learned the business side of contracts and closings in real estate, which peaked my interest in making a career in real estate. While working at the law firm, I took the classes to earn my Real Estate Brokers’ License. Although my career was rewarding and important, I took a break in 2006 to become a full-time mom. Now that my two wonderful children are in school, I am excited to get back into the real estate business. I thoroughly enjoy helping people sell and find their homes and investment properties here in the Asheville and Hendersonville areas.
