I served in the United States Navy as an Equipment Operator Petty Officer Second Class, completing two deployments to Afghanistan. After my service, I joined the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 137, working on landmark projects including the Tappan Zee Bridge and the decommissioning of the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant.
