About Kim

Real estate is dynamic and ever-changing, a concept that truly excites Kim Latour, who loves her work and successfully rises to all challenges. A broker for over 15 years, and a licensed salesperson in NYC since 2016, Kim excels at and thrives on the connection, the negotiation, and the satisfaction of helping people with life's transitions. Having moved 37 times herself, she knows the thrill and frustrations of buying and selling, and serves as a trusted advisor to all her clients who rely on her time-tested expertise. "I really enjoy what I do and it's a pleasure to have the gift of assisting others with what is often one of the most major decisions they will make. Whether you are buying, selling or renting, my enthusiasm, warmth and creativity, combined with my knowledge and high-quality service will make the process as smooth and rewarding as possible!" Kim sold real estate in Maine for many years before returning to the place she considers her one and only home, New York City. Here she specializes in residential brokerage, though in her tenure she's also sold commercial properties and land. Her market territory spans Manhattan and the Bronx, plus she handles rentals throughout the city including in Long Island City, Queens. Navigating the NYC market, and helping with every detail from getting buyers seamlessly past the board to marketing sellers' homes creatively, are her fortes. Prior to real estate, Kim was in the healthcare field working for Harvard in the Commonwealth Research Evaluation Unit at DMH, as well as at state prisons and inpatient mental health units. Skills honed from those experiences such as empathy, active listening, and attention to detail are true assets that translated well into her real estate practice. Spending her youth in NYC and Southern New England, Kim attended the University of Rhode Island, University of New England, and Suffolk University for grad school. She grew up living onboard a boat every summer, resided extensively abroad, and has maintained a deep passion for travel. With a long family history in boat building and sailing, staying close to the water is just as important to her. Kim supports numerous sailing programs and marine environmental causes, and is a fellow with the NY/NJ Storm Surge, and Coastal and Harbor Infrastructure groups. She and her Australian partner have four children and seven grandchildren between them who are spread out around the globe. Hers is a full life led with joy and appreciation!
