About John

John came to real estate sales as a second career when he joined his wife Kathy at Corcoran in 2009. In partnership with Kathy and through his own personal and business network, he has closed a number of significant transactions in premier NYC buildings. The attributes which account for John's early success include high energy; substantive prior experience in senior financial and management positions; many years of board service for the co-operative in which he lives; and a capacity to take on any assignment with intelligence and enthusiasm. For clients, John's background translates into service that is focused, thoughtful and informed. Before joining Corcoran, he was for sixteen years with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, the international Wall Street law firm, where he served successively as CFO and then Executive Director. John has lived in Manhattan all his life, possesses extensive knowledge of the city, and has great enthusiasm for Manhattan living. He earned a BA degree from Columbia College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
