Joan founded MBRE to be a boutique agency by choice, “We keep our rosters small so we can give our clients the attention they deserve”. She has been helping clients navigate commercial and residential real estate for 25 years. Focused on the residential side, her expertise includes condominium sales, rentals, investment properties & management, corporate relocations, and new developments. Her experience in commercial real estate includes brokering commercial office space, retail leasing, building sales, and real estate consultation. Development-related activities include experiences of having raised capital both in equity and debt from institutional investors such as Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and private equity for real estate developments. Interacting with a diverse client base, her personal Interest in real estate and global markets and cultures has allows Joan to always keeps her eyes open for “outside the box” opportunities. With a combination of an International focus from family, an MBA, a corporate experience at Mitsui, and a chance introduction to real estate, Joan began focusing her energies and entrepreneurial spirit 20 years ago in the real estate business make her a key mentor and ally for any client who wants to navigate the complex NYC real estate market.
