Jason Karadus is the co-founder-owner and Principal Broker of Corcoran Country Living, Corcoran’s Hudson Valley affiliate located 90 minutes north of New York City. A 20+ year real estate veteran in both Manhattan and the Hudson Valley, Jason has consistently ranked among the top brokers in NYC and the US. His focus on the luxury market in both areas that has ranked him within the top 10 brokers nationally in Average Transaction Price. In July of 2020, Jason and Marie-Claire Gladstone acquired Paula Redmond Real Estate, a well-established firm in the Hudson Valley and launched Corcoran Country Living in Millbrook and Rhinebeck, introducing the top Manhattan-based powerhouse brand to the region. Six months later through a second acquisition of Lawrence O’Toole Realty, Corcoran Country Living expanded across the Hudson River, adding offices in Woodstock and Kingston and subsequently opened their fifth office in Hudson, New York. Jason oversees the day-to-day operation of the 5 Corcoran Country Living offices, its management team and 80 agents – while always keeping an eye on further expansion in the Hudson Valley. Originally from Pittsburgh, Jason studied marketing and gemology and was a semi-precious stone dealer in Los Angeles, Berlin and NYC’s Diamond District for 10 years before applying his marketing skills to residential real estate. He has called Manhattan home for 28 years and the Hudson Valley his second home for 18 of those. Since opening Corcoran Country Living, Rhinebeck has become Jason’s primary residence and he now enjoys spending weekends in Manhattan.
