About George

George Laskaris has been involved with real estate his entire adult life. While working in the corporate world specializing in investor relations, communication, and finance for major energy companies for over 30 years, he also took time to invest in, and flip, numerous residential properties in New York City and Long Island. In addition, his excellent vision, keen eye for space and layout, along with his undergraduate degree in engineering, were essential to the numerous remodels, renovations, and re-designs he has taken charge of over the years. Most recently, he put these skills to use by consulting on a commercial space on Madison Avenue. "Real estate has always been my true love," says George, "and I believe that no two individuals, properties, or transactions are the same." George Laskaris is committed to his clients, focused on matching them with the best property for their needs, and dedicated to guiding every step of the real estate process to achieve success. Originally from Long Island, George has called New York City home for over 25 years and loves everything about it. He got involved with buying and selling real estate in his 20s and has never lost his passion. George's first apartment was a rental in Hell's Kitchen. He is a longtime co-op owner, previously lived on the Upper West Side and currently lives in Chelsea. He serves on the boards of his buildings on West 77th Street, and on West 23rd Street where he now resides. Raised on Long Island, George is first generation Greek and speaks the language fluently. He holds a Masters of Business Administration with a Finance Concentration from Adelphi University, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at SUNY Stony Brook, NY. When not consumed with real estate, George spends time with his partner and two adorable dogs - a mini Labradoodle and a rescue Poodle mix. He additionally enjoys reading for his book club, cooking up new dishes, and playing the card game bridge.
