About George
George DeMarco just celebrated his 10th year selling NYC real estate and continues to enjoy every moment of turning the chaos into an organized, systematic plan for his clients, while also managing to make the process fun. Each year he has continued to grow his business earning multiple distinctions, including being named to several top-producing agent lists. George managed to have his best year ever and you ask yourself how he managed to succeed. Having been a successful corporate executive for more than 20 years prior to his career in real estate –-he believes that the common building block of all successful businesses is providing an exceptional customer experience. Applying his philosophy of exemplary service, George offers his real estate buyers and sellers a professional, yet easy-going, step-by-step guide through the sales and rental process. He is always mindful that the ultimate goal is a satisfied and happy client and understands that each client has unique needs, requiring a carefully planned, customized approach to meet their specific objectives. George lives in a co-op on the Upper West Side and although the majority of his sales have been concentrated on the UWS, he has sold throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, including, Harlem, the East Village, Hell’s Kitchen, Chelsea, Gramercy, Midtown East, Carnegie Hill, and Park Slope. George has grown his business largely by earning the referrals of his past clients – both buyers and sellers who have been impressed with his professionalism, accessibility and knowledge of the market. Professionally, George’s life-long love for the theater led him to form a theatrical production company which has produced five off-Broadway shows and invested in several Broadway productions. George believes that the business of theater, like real estate, is predicated on the ability to faithfully execute the vision of the client - the writer in the theater world and the buyer/seller in the real estate world. George’s financial, negotiating, organizational and interpersonal skills are seamlessly interwoven to create a system for success. George was raised in Westchester County where he worked at his dad’s supermarket from an early age and learned from his mom’s experiences as a successful real estate agent. His fascination with television game shows led to appearances on seven national game shows including, “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” and “The Price is Right.” He graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in business and later went on to NYU’s Stern School of Business for an MBA in finance and marketing. .
