About Dana
With over 25 years of real estate experience and a New Yorker since 1987, Dana Williams brings deep market expertise and a highly personalized approach to every client. Recognized by leadership at Sotheby's International Realty for her performance, she is known for her diligence, resourcefulness, and attentiveness. Dana joined Sotheby's International Realty in 2007 after serving eight years as a director at another major Manhattan firm, where she launched and led a department that became a national model, guiding buyers and sellers through renovation, relocation, and staging with seamless support. Earlier, she founded a successful personal assistance and home management business serving high-profile clients across media, entertainment, fashion, politics, and the arts — after working at ABC News on a weekly business broadcast. Dana earned her degree in International Relations from American University, studied in Kenya, and was an exchange student in France. She has also lived in St. Thomas and California, and grew up in Denver and St. Louis. These experiences have brought a broad perspective to her career. A dedicated community leader, she has held numerous leadership roles, serving on the boards of Habitat for Humanity NYC, the Riverdale Main Streets Alliance, and her co-op board, and as Co-Chair of Village Preservation's Broker Partnership. She also organized several live crowdfunding events supporting organizations including Harlem Grown and STEM From Dance. She currently serves on the Advisory Committee of Pen + Brush, a Flatiron art gallery. Her properties have been featured in The New York Times, she has interviewed industry experts as the real estate representative for Solvecast, and she has appeared as a guest on the Urban Digs podcast. She is a member of REBNY.
