I love houses – all sizes and styles. Even more, I love homes – single family, multi-family, apartment, condo, co-op – all homes. After over 25 years in real estate, I can view a home from the perspective of a seller and a buyer. This has proved invaluable in our very competitive market. My training and experience in psychology has given me an understanding of the stress buyers and sellers experience in a real estate transaction. I take on the roles of guide, facilitator, negotiator, interpreter, team leader and more, to personally minimize that stress. I have had other careers and this is my favorite. I am based in White Plains, NY and I have represented clients throughout Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Dutchess Counties. These make up our very local market and real estate transactions here require knowledge and experience to navigate what makes it different from other markets. Over the years I have trained and mentored other agents to help them gain that knowledge and experience. I am licensed in New York State as an Associate Real EstateBroker and in Connecticut as a Real Estate Salesperson. I have BA degrees from Georgian Court and Indiana Universities and a MS from Purdue University (this makes me a Lion who became a Hoosier Boilermaker?!). I pursued a PhD in Clinical Psychology until life happened. After years working in social services I chose real estate to allow me to work closer to home and to spend more time with my family. My husband and I reside in Somers, NY with our children and grandchildren close by. And, yes, hablo español 😉
