About Alia

As a Native New Yorker, Alia Monè Basley will bring her 29 years of New York living & 12 years of real estate expertise with every client she meets. Being a real estate salesperson is her calling but she didn’t know this yet until 2015. Before she started her real estate career, she wanted to become a lawyer. She had gotten an internship and then paralegal position at a law firm during her Senior year at SJHS in 2011. She handled general practice matters for most of her career at this firm but what stood out the most were the real estate closings. The feeling of pure zeal with every aspect of preparing for a real estate settlement; from drafting contracts to following up with each party with laser focus to ensure the closing happens. What a rush! When one of the partners at this firm requested she stage and assist in apartment tours for a building they owned; she knew this was her happy place and real passion. It was then in August 2015 that she decided to leave the firm to pursue a career in real estate. She joined New York Casa Group in October 2015. Flash forward to today, she goes above and beyond to ensure every deal goes smoothly. Her combined experience in real estate law and as a salesperson will give you the 12 years of expertise, social prowess, care and savvy to trust her as a guide in your real estate consumer journey.
