Born in Pasadena, Texas, his earliest years were spent in various parts of Texas before his family settled in Carlsbad for good. He served three years with the U.S. Army, and holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He worked in the oilfields for 17 years, and owns a side business that still services the oilfields around Carlsbad. Lanndon has always had an interest in real estate, and when his wife, Stacey, began talking of hiring an assistant to help her with her heavy workload, he saw his opportunity and jumped at the chance.
