Before returning to the area, he lived in Newport Beach and Laguna California, as well as the East Coast of Florida, before settling back into his hometown of Margate, NJ. He still resides in Margate with his wife and children and has also worked for many years as a manufacturer’s sales representative, in the action sports market. Mark’s real estate roots run deep, having family involved at the beginning of the casino development era, in Atlantic City (Caesars), and has worked at his family’s Atlantic City hotels while growing up. He has held a real estate license for over 40 years and got his start with his father Harry, while he was a developer and broker on and off the island, and a longtime Margate City Planning Board member. Most of Mark’s sales are here on the island and he knows the luxury beach lifestyle market extremely well. He is also familiar with the offshore area, since running his sales rep business from an office location he has owned on Route 9 in Northfield for 30 plus years. Outside of real estate, Mark can be found surfing all year, either on his home shores, or surf destinations all over the world. Being a lifetime competitive surfer and Pro Tour member, he was recently inducted into the New Jersey Surfing Hall of Fame in 2017 and nominated for the East Coast Hall of Fame in 2018.
