I am the proud "Nonie" to my first grandchild. Two of my children have a brain condition (hydrocephalus). I have spent the past 30 years supporting and educating families in St. Louis and all over the country who are dealing with this condition. I have run conferences here in St. Louis for anyone interested in finding out more information regarding this brain condition. I have been a member of the Board of Directors of the Hydrocephalus Association, a national non-profit charity, since 2005 and have spoken at conferences across the country about the challenges of raising children with hydrocephalus. I have been an advocate for families who have a child or family member with hydrocephalus by visiting our representatives in Washington, D.C.
