Hi! I’m Sophia Burk, and I’m so honored you’re here. 🤍 Before becoming a real estate agent, I knew my heart was leading me toward a career centered around serving others. I grew up surrounded by an entrepreneurial spirit, which taught me early on the importance of hard work, character, communication, and continually growing into the best version of myself. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, proudly born in El Paso, Texas, and raised in the Midwest. ¡Sí, hablo español! 😊 My professional journey has taken me through many different industries, and each one has shaped the way I serve my clients today. I started in retail before spending 10 years in the restaurant industry, where I worked as a server, bartender, and supervisor. I was also fortunate enough to be part of the opening teams for several restaurants in Rochester, experiences that taught me how to thrive in fast-paced environments and, most importantly, how to connect with people. From there, I became a Car Specialist with Subaru. Selling vehicles taught me so much about building trust during a process that can often feel stressful and overwhelming. I learned that clients don’t just need someone to “sell” them something—they need someone who listens, communicates, educates, and genuinely has their best interests at heart. My experience also extends into law, leasing, and property management, working with both corporate companies and individual property owners. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on real estate and a strong foundation for navigating the many details that come with buying, selling, leasing, and managing property. Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful for every mentor, leader, coworker, and client who has helped shape me along the way. Every chapter has given me skills and perspective that I now bring into my work as a real estate professional. Above all, I’m passionate about building genuine relationships and making sure my clients feel informed, heard, and confident throughout the process.
