About me Business Philosophy My goal is to guide and coach you through the process of buying and selling your home, providing the best possible experience. I want to use my skills and training to find just the right home for a buyer, and use my expertise to find just the right buyer for a home. My background in social service — working with both seniors and young adults — has solidified my sincere desire to help people move forward in their lives. With the collaborative efforts of a great team of specialists and professionals, we are dedicated to making your housing transaction a success. Education and Training Each year, Realtor's must complete additional training to maintain and renew their licenses, so my training is an ongoing process. In addition to my license training in Minnesota, I am also trained and certified as an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) and also a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). My other education includes a Master's Degree in Women's Studies from the University of York in York, England, and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the College of St Catherine's in St Paul, MN. Areas of Specialty My areas of specialty include working with first time home buyer's and small investors who are looking for that perfect home or rental property, and also working with Seniors and their families to help navigate the housing transitions that may come with aging. Communities I Serve I am licensed in Minnesota and provide Realtor services throughout the Twin Cities metro area. Having lived in SW Minneapolis for many years, that is my 'sweet spot', but I have also listed and sold properties in the many neighborhoods in the city and in the suburbs of the entire metro. I am available to work anywhere within Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Dakota, and Carver counties of Minnesota. Personal Background I entered into the real estate field with a good range of life and work experience. Working in the social service field with both Seniors and young adults / families taught me compassion and strength. As a program coordinator I learned to pull together logistics and details to create efficient systems and operations. I also worked as an administrator for a HVAC company and was taught the importance of sweating the details and multitasking. Finally, my work in market research, along with my college education in social research have taught me how to find and interpret information and data. My passions in life include: my business, my family, my pets, music (I was in a band for many years), home remodeling and decorating, and world travel.
