About Kristen

Kris Cawood was that 6-year-old granddaughter who grew up helping her grandparents and parents who rented and flipped houses. She was seemingly born with a paintbrush in her right hand and a screwdriver in her left. Whether she was helping her grandma paint walls or having her nose in her grandpa’s electrical and plumbing projects, she grew up with real estate in her blood. When she and her family weren’t working on houses, they were taking Sunday drives to learn about neighborhoods in the Twin Cities area! To this day, Kris continues to renovate and add on to homes of her own, she has run a successful vacation rental business for two decades, and she buys and sells houses because it’s what she loves to do. Kris is that realtor who can walk into a house and see its potential as your home. She has made a life out of honoring what families need and want, figuring out how the physical layout and style of your home helps shape the ways your family interacts, and making sure there’s space for the individuals you are. Kris loves children and has taught elementary school kids from all walks of life. She has run a scrapbooking business, she has created Kirby Puckett’s Hall of Fame scrapbook, and she has a passion for working in retail. From all of this, she has learned why customer service is essential, why relationships are sacred, and why memories are the only treasure we can ever hold onto.
