About Jason

I started my real estate career in 1999 working with traditional buyers and sellers. My main focusing was working with buyers to learn the ropes and gain some experience. In 2001 I started a small mortgage company and shifted my focus on the financing side, but still kept my license active and continued to work with buyers and sellers. I continued doing both mortgages and real estate until 2008 and at that time decided that I liked the real estate side a lot more than the financing and hung up my loan officer shoes ( it was a tough decision, but I still keep up with the new guidelines as best I can). In 2011 I joined one of the top agents in MN, Jason Stockwell, and have been on his team since. Our team sells hundreds of homes a year and we have some of the best systems in place for our buyers and sellers. Our team works with all types of real estate clients- first time buyers, move up buyers, investors, etc. My team leader, Jason Stockwell, is an expert in bank owned properties and rehabbing homes (he has sold over 250 rehabbed homes in the last three years). This has turned out to be a niche that I really enjoy and I have helped investors buy and rehab homes the last two years and have also been involved in a few rehabs myself. Another area that I have been involved in is helping investors find properties that need some rehab and will provide positive cash flow after being fixed up- and at the same time accomplish this with as little money out of pocket as possible. I also work with buyers that want to find a home, have it remodeled, and then occupy the home- this is a great way to buy a home and build equity fast.
