Estrella Carter infuses integrity, trust, and loyalty in every aspect of her work. Born and raised in a Victorian home in the historic Cathedral Hill area of St. Paul, she has nurtured a love of classic architecture and interior design since childhood. Growing up immersed in the environment of a successful family restaurant, La Cucaracha in the Crocus Hill neighborhood, she developed the skills necessary to run a business, learning to adapt to the market in creative ways, and to mindfully serve a diverse clientele. Estrella holds a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota, which led to a 15-year career in human services, managing programs to empower clients in their wealth creation & wellbeing, through advancements in personal growth, education, and career advancement. This commitment to service & helping others improve their lives eventually led her away from social work, as Estrella followed in her family’s entrepreneurial footsteps, starting Stellar One Commercial & Residential Cleaning and Staging. It was in this business that she began deeply connecting with her love of real estate, as she helped sellers, buyers, investors, and realtors through their transactions. As her business gained traction, she was inspired to expand her mission to create a greater impact in the world, and recognizing the need for more pathways to home ownership and generational wealth for underserved families, she made the decision to become a real estate agent. In her short time as an agent, she has walked with her clients as they navigate the sometimes difficult road to their dream home, and is quickly building a reputation across the Twin Cities, for her vision, determination, and as a beacon for families who need a dose of hope coupled with reliable guidance. Currently residing in Historic Downtown Hastings, Estrella is devoted to her husband, Michael, and their four adult children. As a family, they have woven themselves into this small town community, becoming engaged locally and working to build strong relationships with their neighboring businesses & families. When she is not meeting her real estate clients, or managing her businesses, she can be found cooking delectable dishes, exercising her eye for interior design, or playing pickleball with her husband.
