Career Journey in Real Estate Introduction My interest in real estate was sparked in the late 1970s when I began working at a startup real estate company located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Despite my young age, I gained valuable hands-on experience behind the scenes. It was during this period that I discovered my enthusiasm for real estate and recognized it as the career path I wanted to follow. Early Professional Experience In 2004, I earned my Realtor license, marking the official start of my professional journey in real estate. My first role was with Coldwell Banker Burnett in Maple Grove. After some time in this position, I decided to step away from real estate temporarily to focus on raising my young family. Eventually, I returned to the industry and joined a team at Renters Warehouse, where I assisted with leasing homes. Transition to Sales and Growth After renewing my real estate license, I transitioned from my leasing assistant role to real estate sales with RW Realty. In 2015, I made the decision to leave RW Realty and joined Greater Midwest Realty, where I continued to develop my skills and grow my professional network within the industry. Recent Endeavors and Leadership In October 2023, I became part of Realty Group, demonstrating my ongoing commitment to real estate. Most recently, in January 2025, I partnered with another broker to establish NaviStar Realty Group. This full-service brokerage provides both real estate sales and property management services, continuing my dedication to the industry.
