I’ve never believed that being a good real estate agent means being a good salesperson. Buying or selling a home isn’t something you should be “sold” through. It’s a major decision and often a major life transition. That’s why it matters who you work with. You want someone who listens to what matters most, helps you understand your options, and keeps things moving when there are a hundred pieces in play. That’s the kind of agent I’ve always strived to be. I’ve spent nearly 9 years in real estate: 5 years working directly with buyers and sellers, followed by 3 years as the assistant to one of Western Massachusetts’ top-producing agents. That behind-the-scenes experience was invaluable. Working alongside a high-volume agent exposed me to a wide range of scenarios. It not only gave me a deeper understanding of what it takes to keep a transaction moving, but also made me a better-equipped agent when things don’t go exactly as planned. My motto has always been that any agent can be a “Vanna White” and point out the obvious. Opening the door and showing a home is the easy part. The hard part is knowing what to look for once you’re inside, asking the right questions, anticipating what comes next, and helping clients navigate challenges when they arise. Western Massachusetts isn’t just where I work—it’s home. It’s where I was raised and where I have raised my own family. I love welcoming people to the area, but I also understand that moving can mean leaving a meaningful chapter behind to begin a new one. The house is only one part of the story. What matters just as much is what that move means and makes possible for the people making it. After several years behind the scenes, I’m happy to be back out front, helping people take that next step and find their way “home.”
