An active member of The Greater Boston Real Estate Board and The Greater Boston Association of Realtors, he is also a member of the Blackstone/Franklin Square Neighborhood Association, past president and trustee of the Friends of Blackstone Franklin Square Parks and a member of the University Club of Boston. Courtney is a Massachusetts native and is a graduate of Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut and Lake Forest College in Lake Forest Illinois. He currently lives in Boston's historic South End.
