After a successful career in sales, Bo Fydenkevez decided it was time for a change. He had always had an interest in the housing market, so he incorporated his years of selling experience into a new profession as a real estate agent. Turns out, it was the perfect fit. His friend and Rovithis Realty agent Jared Hamre was one of the key players in Bo receiving his real estate license, so joining the Rovithis team was the natural next step. “I have had my share of managers in the past, and Steve (Rovithis) and his team’s drive for success tells me that they are hard-working and detail-oriented,” Bo said. “It’s key for client experience to be the number-one priority.” Bo’s background in sales taught him that it’s all about customer service. Speaking with people and helping to make a positive impact always came naturally to him, which is why he enjoyed sales. Now as a real estate agent, he gets to help individuals and families buy and sell their homes. “What is better than helping someone make one of the biggest decisions in their life?” he asks. “It makes me feel good knowing I’m helping others.” He inherited his work ethic from his father. “I learned a lot from him,” Bo said. “He taught me if you work hard and focus, you can do anything you set your mind to.” Now a father himself, he values family over all else. “Nothing else really matters other than my family,” he said. “When you are younger, you really don’t think about anything other than yourself. But as you grow as an individual and become wiser, you start to realize family is everything. All the money in the world can’t fulfill the feeling of having support from your loved ones.” Bo is passionate about his accomplishments, whether it’s negotiating a deal for a client and getting them the price or teaching his sons how to ride a bike. That’s why he’s ready and willing to learn from seasoned real estate professionals. “Listen to the people giving you advice and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it,” he said. “In this business there is a lot to learn and it’s hard without help.”
