Before real estate, I spent four and a half years in the Marine Corps Infantry, including three deployments, then came home and used the GI Bill to attend the University of Louisville. I got my start rehabbing a $10,000 two-bedroom house, and the results hooked me on real estate ever since. That hands-on start turned into years of steady growth — my team and I have helped close more than $20 million in real estate acquisitions and hundreds of units across Louisville, from turnkey rentals and value-add multifamily to the syndications I run through Beechmont Equities. These days most of my energy goes into regular residential buyers and sellers, bringing that same disciplined, numbers-first approach to every closing. I also spent a few years owning and running Derby City CrossFit, which taught me the same lesson real estate did: show up, do the reps, and the results compound.
